Description
Astonishing design meets elegant craftsmanship in these Rosenthal lead crystal champagne flutes designed by master glass artist Arlon Bayliss. The striking combination of angles and curves earned the Schlangenglas design — the name translates as “Serpentglass” — a place in the permanent collection of the Corning Museum of Glass. The venerable German glass firm Rosenthal collaborates with contemporary artists and designers in its Series Line. Between 1980 and 1990, Bayliss worked on several different projects with Rosenthal, but his line of champagne flutes may be the most famous. These were “Sektflöte 8.” Maybe you have something special to toast....maybe you need to make a romantic gesture...maybe you just appreciate the sinuous look of these crystal wonders. We don’t really need reasons, do we? These flutes are like new in their original boxes with care instructions. They are without defect and do not appear to have ever been used. They are signed on the base by both Rosenthal and Arlon Bayliss. They are being sold in sets of two, with eight total available. I am open to combining shipping on multiple orders.
