Description

ANTIQUE, C.1900 ROSENTHAL CABINET PLATE, RARE, PRINTEMPS, GERMANY.. Hard to find Cabinet Plate measuring approximately 8" diameter. Fabulous sculptured rim is scalloped, "ruffled" and decorated with gilding. It is signed with the Rosenthal mark that was used from 1891 to 1906. It also is signed Germany, LION D'OR, Printemps and 69. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. Gilding is slightly rubbed off at some edges. Central transfer on a pale green ground of a Shepardress/Maiden in the field with lambs. Please refer to the photos as they are part of the description. 35
