Description

13" Rosenthal wall or charger plate honoring 'The Pastry Eaters' by Spanish artist Bartolome Esteban Murillo (1618-1682). Based on the Rosenthal mark I believe this plate was made in Germany either in 1956 or 1962. It is is excellent vintage condition. The plate is completely flat with the exception of a slightly raised rim, see pic 2. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs. I've highlighted two minor flaws: Pic 6: tiny oval 'thread' approx 1/4" wide Pic 7: imperfection in the rim, under the gold In my humble opinion this is a gorgeous piece of Rosenthal that will not disappoint.
