Description

These plates from the 70's and early 80's (?) were designed by Danish artist Bjorn Wiinblad for Rosenthal Porcelain. They are four of the 12-plate set in his "Aladin" series. The plates are: #2: "Aladin spielt mit den Gassenjungen" (Aladdin plays with the street urchins) #5: "Der Geist des Ringes fliegt Aladin aus dem Zaubergarten hinaus" (The spirit of the ring flies Aladin out of the magic garden) #6: "Aladin sieht die schöne Prinzessin" (Aladdin sees the beautiful princess) #9: "Aladin reitet hin, um sich dem Sultan vorzustellen" (Aladdin rides to present himself to the sultan) Each plate is 6.5 inches in diameter; the boxes measure 8"x8"x1". Each plate has a hanger on the back. None of these four plates has ever, to my knowledge, been displayed. They all appear to be in mint condition. My home is smoke and pet-free.
