Description

A fine set of five prints by Welsh artist Stan Rosenthal, numbered and signed by the artist in a collection that was put together for the millenium calendar (2000). Stan Rosenthal (1933-2012) is a well known Welsh artist with a distinctive contemporary style with work that is included in the royal collection. He is best known for his colourful and vibrant abstract paintings of his native Welsh landscape, particularly Pembrokeshire. The calendar is now out of date of course but this is really a collection of five individually signed prints of a limited edition of 1,200 (number 67) onto high quality matt textured watercolour type paper. These can be framed and mounted to add value as a single signed Stan Rosenthal print is easily worth well into three figures. Offered in good condition, has never been hung or used and the overall size of the calendar is A3 (42cms x 30cms). The prints themselves measure approx 23cms square not including the signature below.
